Perfect Setting Powder

Wow! I was disappointed years ago when the brand removed the matte setting powder from the lineup and now I’m running terribly low on the perfect setting powder I starting using, as a result, however, not being able to purchase the latter in forever, it seems like, has totally disappointed me. I’ve used these products loyally, but now I’m searching for a replacement since unable to purchase my favorite. So very confused and saddened by all of this while waiting and hoping that it will turn up one day on this site to no avail.

Gosh I loved your product but it’s impressive how you’ve ghosted such a loyal fan base. Do you realize there are people like me and many others based on what I’m reading below who, even a year later and far longer than this company deserves given its lack of transparency on what’s going on, are still checking back to see if maybe you’ve restocked your shades? Do you know how much we loved and respected your company and are even now still prepared to support it?

Multiple inquiries to customer service from me, nothing but kicking the can down the road and boilerplate responses.

I’d love to know what others are using as their new replacement for the perfect setting powder, since this company clearly has forgotten about us. I think it’s about time we moved on, too.

You were awesome while you lasted, CoverFX. But part of having a company is caring for the customer base you earn through your great products. That’s where you failed mightily.

I have been loyally using CoverFX since at least 2002 to cover vitiligo on my face. It was superior to any other cover cream I have tried. At first I could only get it through Sunnybrook hospital pharmacy in Toronto. Then it became available at Shoppers in Canada and the cosmetics workers were trained in colour-matching skin tones. Then it was sold to an American company, and harder to get (available in Canada at Sephora, but holay expensive in there, add the awful trip to the mall). Right around the pandemic most of the shades of the total cover foundation and setting powders became unavailable. I was told repeatedly, "supplier issues" and they were "working hard" to get this resolved. I finally gave up and found an alternative.

My shade of the CoverFX total cover foundation became available, so I thought I would give it another try. The container is much bulkier, no mirror on the compact anymore, no room for the applicator sponge, and the texture of the product is different.

I keep looking back here for the loose setting powder (I usually bought dark and light and mixed it to make medium) but it hasn't been available for SO SO SO LONG, it's a bit ridiculous, and the excuses are brutal. After reading other people's feedback on the waiting for this, I felt I should chime in.

There are other products available nowadays, and they are equally as good. The best part: They ARE available and no excuses! This may be the last time I look here for these products...UGHHHHHH two…
